I am actually hoping to finish a few more books this year, but this is where I am now. I somehow blew by my goal by reading 91 books of 60 (so far) I'm so close to 100, I almost feel like I should have pushed to hit that mark. Ah well. I read for fun, so can't worry about the numbers. Just fun to look at.

The average goal that people have set is apparently 54. Sure, some people can do that, but as average that seems pretty insane.

I'm at 98% to my goal of 12 books this year. Only 28 pages left. Should not be a problem.  ;D

I would imagine it's because a higher percentage of people who read 50+ books use something like Goodreads enough to participate in setting goals versus people who read less. Definitely going to be a skewed statistic. Plus, as much as I read, I don't even come close to many mega-readers (for lack of a better term). Their hundreds of books a year might be enough to throw the average too....maybe. But ultimately, people who have a goal of 6 books a year (which is not bad, all reading goals are great) are less likely to in this group even though there's probably a huge number of them.

70 Books

It'll probably be 71 or 72 as long as I finish Half a War in time and depending if someone buys me Saga for Christmas...

Shortest Book:
The Strange Library - Haruki Murakami - 77 pages

Longest Book:
The Walking Dead, Compendium 1 - 1,088 pages

Boooooo to TWD, 1088 pages of my life I'll never get back. :P

Awesome feature!

Here's mine:
https://www.goodreads.com/user/year_in_books/2015/38193093

My average rating is 4.1. I wonder if I grade easy or if all the books I read this year are just that good?

Glad they put this feature. I saw everyone's books and there were tons with interesting titles/covers/concepts that made me interested and didn't saw anywhere else.

And @ultamentkiller, you posted the wrong link  ;D

Oh, and they just put a new feature in it: the most and least popular book you read. I just wish I could also choose which cover got the "big treatment" and to choose favorite book and series as well.

It is cool! And shows me more people need to read In Midnight's Silence by Teresa Frohock!!

It's strange that seeing your links doesn't allow me to click on your profiles to send a friend invite. I added Mr.J through Arry's update feed. EDIT: You can't click on the name, but you can on the profile picture.  ::)

How do I add a signature link like @Ryan Mueller did? I went to the Forum Profile and it didn't had a GR option  :-\

I think I just added all my links manually with the forum code.

Here is my Year in Books but some of those History books weren't from this year. I didn't put 'Date read' in until lately so GR has done some creative accounting for me. ;D All my fantasy ones are correct though and I will put read dates in from now on. I like the way they have set it up. @Eclipse, I'm so glad you made me join in properly, thanks ;D
