Blood Mirror by Brent Weeks.
Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson. Although he's saying it could be early 2017.
Calamity by Brandon Sanderson.
Age of Myth by Michael J. Sullivan.
Fever Code by James Dashner.
Thorn of Emberlain by Scott Lynch.
Um... I think that's it? I need to read more stuff.

At this stage I'm only going to say Jen Williams' The Silver Tide, because that's one I know will definitely drop in 2016.
I will expand your TBR pile.

Daniel Abraham's The Spider's War (this series has been the absolute best and I am so psyched for the conclusion)
Max Gladstone's Four Roads Cross (ditto)
Genevieve Valentine's Icon (sequel to Persona)
Guy Gavriel Kay's Children of Earth and Sky (not sure his recent work has been quite as awesome, but he's still damn good)
Robert Jackson Bennett's City of Blades (because I thought City of Stairs was some amazing work)
Ben Aaronovitch's The Hanging Tree (Peter Grant's adventures just keep getting better and better)

Peter Newman :- The Malice
Mark Lawrence :- The Wheel of Oshiem
Joe Abercrombie :- Sharp Ends
Ben Aaronovitch :- The Hanging Tree
Scott Lynch:- The Thorn of Emberlain
Jen Williams :- The Silver Tide

I am not holding my breath for Ruthkiss or Martin to publish this year maybe 2017

* The wheel of Osheim - Mark Lawrence
* The silver tide - Jen Williams
* The blood mirror (?) - Brent Weeks
* The core - Peter V. Brett

I can't say more because a/ I don't know what's coming in 2016, and b/ these are the ones I *really* need to finish the story ;D

Very good choices. Similar to my own. I think, if we are doing the mainstream and super popular titles first, we should mention these three and get them out the way (although, that said, not 100% any will make it out in 2016, are we?)!

* The Thorn of Emberlain - Scott Lynch
* The Winds of Winter - George R.R. Martin
* Doors of Stone - Patrick Rothfuss

It is the most anticipated books of 2016, not 2061. :)

Age of Myth by Michael J. Sullivan
Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson
Bands of Mourning by Brandon Sanderson
Assassin's Fate by Robin Hobb

Does anyone have a handy list of major upcoming releases? I swear there were some more but I can't think of any others...  :-\

Assassin's Fate will be published in 2017, if I am not mistaken.

About most anticipated books for me, I would guess the new Mistborn book, the new Expanse book and the new book from Abercrombie.

All I've heard is July 2016, which would fit with the other two in that trilogy (released summer 2014 and summer 2015), so I think it's pretty likely to be next year.  :)

I would say Saint's Blood by Sebastien De Castell - really enjoyed his first two and I am not sure I could explain why. Would also definitely agree with The Hanging Tree by Ben Aaronovitch. Not going to pin any hopes on the big guns. Will just keep looking forward to them when they are ready...

The Thorn of Emberlain by Scott Lynch and Those Below by Daniel Polanksy are the only two I have my eyes on at the moment.

Assassin's Fate, Thorn of Emberlain, The Hanging Tree, The Silver Tide, Babylon's Ashes, Erebus Sequence book 3.

Not sure if Winds of Winter will make it this year, but not beyond possibility. Will have been 5 years, and that has roughly been the gaps between the last couple of books in the sequence.

The Patrick Rothfuss third book is beyond a joke though. The story doesn't have anywhere near the complexities of ASOIAF, and it will still only his THIRD published novel.  George RR Martin once upon a time was actually a prolific writer, and even now does have a lot of balls in the air.

Hey ultamentkiller  & Brother of the Sixth Order. Just wanted to drop by and thank you for being excited for Age of Myth.  I'm really excited about this series and have really enjoyed my interactions with Del Rey regarding publication of it. Like the Revelations stories, I wrote all these books before publishing the first, which allows for some nice weaving of thread from book to book.  A few days ago I finished the edits for Book #3 and I hope to have the edits for #4 and #5 done by April or May.  Also, yesterday I turned in the copy edits for Book #1  - so the whole series is moving along nicely.

Again, I'm glad you are looking forward to the release. I am too ;-)

Here is a list that seems to have a pretty good list of anticipated 2016 books - keep in mind that since this list is built by readers it represents "hope to be released" books and not official dates from the publisher. In any case, I think it's a pretty good list to work off of.
