I opened this thread with a measure of trepidation ;)

I fully agree, it's FUN and adventuresome, a nice change from the relentlessly Grim fantasy that is everywhere at the moment.

I know when I'm into a book when I have to cover the right hand page with my hand while reading the left.  ;D

!!!
I've returned the book to the library, so I can't check what that is, but I do that too! Particularly when the right hand page is the end of a chapter. I thought I was the only (crazy) one hehe

Never actually tried that, but I may have to in future to stop my eyes from wandering. I guess that's one advantage on an ebook, you only get one page at a time.
I will expand your TBR pile.

True and I read a lot  ebook. But in this case, I'm enjoying having the physical book and the sensation of constantly resisting the temptation for the eyes to wander ahead  :)

Finished. I wanted to write a poem, and I had a start in the shower. Something about

"Heaving a sigh, I closed the book
on Wydrin, Seb and Frith's inward look.
What lovely mayhem, what marvelous fun,
so glad the story is just begun"

Thank the gods I didn't write it down. It might be cruel to inflict it, even if the meaning is, er, meant.

Wonderful book!
Buy it, read it. (In that order please.)

Can someone give me a blurb or a link to this book please? I'm looking for something to read and this thread made me curious.

Just ordered Iron Ghost from a UK re-seller. Ouch. That was expensive. Double the coat of Copper Promise.  Maybe I need to start a campaign to get te books published here in the US. :)
