Not sure if they're mentioned yet, but I'm pretty sure The Dark Tower series fit into this label really well.

I would say books one and four, and the Wind Through the Keyhole do, but the rest is just pure unadulterated peak Stephen King.

Oh my...I love Westerns! Grew up on Louis L'Amour books and Clint Eastwood movies.

Didn't even realize this was a genre. Stopping current read and diving into Six Gun Tarot right now ...
