F-F Read along
« on: May 07, 2018, 01:08:15 PM »
I would't mind starting this up again the Read alongs , I did the Smiler's fair and Shattered Sand read along but I do need at least four people and a book we all be interested in reading, recent posts in the Malazan read along makes me want to do another one.

A read along is a bit like an online bookclub with the members from here joining in if there so wish, you go at your own reading pace so it doesen't matter if one reader is faster then another. Unlike the F-F bookclub where we all stayed at the same pace.

All the topics are opened at the same time so you can post whenever you feel like it.

Normally there are five topics of the book

First topic 0-20%

Second Topic 20-40%

Third Topic 40-60%

Forth Topic 60-80%

Fifth topic 80-100%

For an example why dont you glance at the Smiler's Fair Topics.

Of course you can say anything in the Fifth topic but its fun if you post in the previous four topics and come up with theories where the story is going or observations

It's a lot of fun with a group if you can decide on the same book to read
