The Lord of the Rings? If you count that as a trilogy.

Divine Cities Trilogy - Robert Jackson Bennett
Book of the Ancestor - Mark Lawrence (assuming we don't count novellas)


I've read good reviews about Magicians (Lev Grossman) but haven't read it yet.

If we could expand this to quadrilogies then, Bartimaeus (Jonathan Stroud) and Faithful and Fallen (John Gwynne) may qualify too.

Most of my favourite series have more than three books. The length is why i like them.  :-[

Speaking of trilogies, Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn are on my TBR list.  Anyone here read them, and if so how did you like them?  I've heard good things.
