Well, the easiest is my back 'garden', I used it for the first time yesterday and realised I really to buy a comfy recliner chair or something similar, since the bench the old owners left isn't fit for purpose hehe

I also like to read in the local park, or any park, to be honest.

Personally, I can't read anywhere outside. The sound of people, cars, etc. are just too annoying, IMO. Even at home I usually wait to around 10 pm. and onwards to start reading, since a lot of people had gone to sleep and it's pretty quite then.

You should go to Bea’s back garden, peaceful and quiet.

I like to read in botanical gardens less people there then in  parks.

Whenever I try to read outside, there are wasps around, so I go back inside.

Glad to see my points have already been raised, i.e. this "outside" place is full of other people and insects, do not recommend, no stars.

...mostly, I just don't get to go outside unless I'm escorting a toddler, and therefore no hands free for books.

Bed but outside reclined is good too.

I've been thinking of this recently, but it's so hot and humid outside. However, there is place along the river from my house that I might try—a pagoda-like shelter.

I quite enjoy reading on our back deck when the weather suits it.
I will expand your TBR pile.

I just spent 40 minutes reading my Malazan on a bench outside work - lovely!

I don't have a favourite place, I read everywhere. I read walking in the street, I read in pubs, restaurants, cafes, whilst waiting for movies to begin, while queuing, in my staff room, in parks and in the bus.
My favourite place is at home and the rest is just me carrying on.

Prior to actually becoming the scorer for Lejays17's softball team I used to get a lot of reading done at the games in between innings. Spent some time today by the resort pool in Port Douglas where we are holidaying, reading.
