Ha ha .... not even close. We're actually talking about heading over there again in April, with the kids this time. Should be fun even if we miss FF Con

Having spoken to publishers who are really keen, to help us get the bigger name authors involved and make sure we do it properly we are going to look at Feb 2017 or May 2017 for the Con. We can start planning it soon and make sure it is a huge success as opposed to something rushed that could potentially screw up future ones. Instead, we will be having another Grim Gathering event or two in 2016 so watch this space ;-)

That strikes me as a very astute move at this point 2016 is looming and you may have had  to compromise to make anything happen at all with regard to venues as well as authors.

Does this mean there will be a Grim Gathering in 2016 in the format used last year?

Nope, I was curious if it would be trying something new or following the 2015 books, drinks and breakfast type event.

@Marc please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist.

No need for you to be sorry at all. You could just have easily been correct. I could have worded it much better (if only I could write). My mind is racing between work, what I need to do and what I want to do at the moment.
I can also blame a lack of coffee, something I can fix right now.

Q. If there are to be two could we assume one in the North and one in the South?

Thanks for the update Marc and seeing how fast 2015 is going giving yourself a year and a bit to arrange makes sense.

Needless to say my offer of help where I can still stands.
