A game of thrones.. and yes we too are waiting for April

You don't say... I challenge you to find a fantasy fan who doesn't know that quote...

I have never heard of it...only because I have not read ASoIaF.

I have two tattoos of my favorite lines:
  • Beneath this mask there is more than flesh, Beneath this mask there is an idea, and, ideas are bulletproof from V for Vendetta
  • I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul by Invictus
Kallor shrugged. 'I've walked this land when the T'lan Imass were but children. I've commanded armies a hundred thousand strong. I've spread the fire of my wrath across entire continents, and sat alone upon tall thrones. Do you grasp the meaning of this?'

'Yes' said Caladan Brood. 'You never learn'

Perhaps because I have read it so many times or because the books were such a long part of my life, this is always the first one to come to mind.

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again."

I almost got it printed on trim to run around my office. But I decided later to do that with my own books.

"The good and the evil resulting from our words and deeds go on apportioning themselves, one assumes in a reasonably uniform and balanced way, throughout all the days to follow, including those endless days, when we shall not be here to find out, to congratulate ourselves or ask for pardon, indeed there are those who claim that this is the much-talked-of immortality, Possibly, but this man is dead and must be buried."

José Saramago from Blindness

"The things you used to own, now they own you."
"You are not special. You're not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. We're all part of the same compost heap."

Chuck Palahniuk from Fight Club

“Enjoy the world while you can I say. A shallow enough philosophy by which to live, but shallow is what I've got. Besides deep is apt to drown you.”
? Mark Lawrence, Prince of Fools

“It's like everyone tells a story about themselves inside their own head. Always. All the time. That story makes you what you are. We build ourselves out of that story.”
? Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind
