I think that's just the order of the nominations - at least it was the same when I voted last time, but since I don't think I clicked on the 'save' buttons, I'm voting again.

It's the 'comment rankings' - which because of the effect of down votes may not be exactly the same as the final result but it's close. The categories (best novel etc) are randomized but sadly that doesn't extend into the comments  (individual books etc) in those categories.

If that is the case, coming second to Tor.com (which seems likely) is something I'd still be very proud of. They have a 'slightly' larger budget than us... being a multimillion pound company versus us, a community website, with a value of £0.00 + donations ;)

Joined and voted! Hopefully between the site, FB, and twitter we can pull together enough votes to win this!

Bad Luck for us, but

So congratulations Fantasy Faction on very honourable second place.

Also very happy to see some of our favourite authors get awards.

I've got the top 5 listed for best novel / debut / self-published novel /anthology

Not for best site, but I'd bet a lot that Fantasy-Faction was 2nd.

Congrats on being second - it seems being second is the best :D

I wonder if everything I voted for came second: Liar's Key, F-F, the covers for Rain Wild Chronicles, ...

Slightly OT. You can always tell a re-enactors/martial artists homes by the gashes in the ceiling. This is why you don't, or let others wave swords around indoors and that goes double if alcohol is involved.

@Overlord you are going to have to rework the front page to sqeeze the nomination in, and congrats.
