Post by: ScarletBea on May 19, 2017, 05:18:33 PM
There's an article about this on the main site here (http://fantasy-faction.com/2017/david-gemmell-awards-for-fantasy-ravenheart-award).

The candidates this year are:

My favourite is John Gwynne's cover: it's got a great mix of design elements with letting people know what the story is about (fighters riding bears!), and it fits perfectly with the rest of the series.

You can still vote until Friday 2nd June, here (http://www.gemmellawards.com/award-voting-2017/).

Yeah that's a pretty awesome design.

Nevernight is pretty good too.

(Tho I feel like Eli's Firemoon is better than all of them :))

Bit of a disappointing category, in my opinion, since people seem to have largely voted for their favourite authors rather than the good covers, even though it's pretty easy to do the research on this one. I do like the Nevernight and Wrath covers, though. I think Gwynne already won one with Malice, so I'd go for Nevernight.
