BristolCon - 20 Oct 2012
« on: October 10, 2012, 07:29:08 PM »

Is anyone on here planning on going to BristolCon this year?

It's a one day Con on 20 October (less than two weeks away) and is looking to be pretty damned good.
Check out some of these names in the line-up:

Gareth Powell
Guy Haley
Jaine Fenn
Anne Lyle
Danie Ware
Mark Clapham
Lou Morgan
John Meaney
Juliet E. Mckenna
Ian Whates.

For more info here's the website: http://www.bristolcon.org/

Would be great to meet more FF people there.

Paul

I know... I used to say to Marc that I won't touch the forums because I will become addicted. It's the same reason why I won't play WOW. But look at what's happening... Soon I'll be signing away my credit card to Blizzard too haha.  ;D

I'm planning ahead for next year, though. Cons - here I come!  ;D

I'm going to be there! I turned down a holiday in Germany for this, because I am a massive geek, I'm really looking forward to it! :D

I'm going too  :D

The panel topics look very interesting - especially the 'Battle of the Books' one.

I prefer the autumns of Austria, considering I live in Austria. ;D

This seems like a pretty neat convention. Sad I can't go.
Oh, I have a blog. http://dullboredom.wordpress.com/

I'm off to Dusseldorf then, so I wont be going, dang it and after Fantasycon I've really caught the con-bug as well.

the deepening pits of their gaze
vowed immortal war
against the sighing calm
of Jaghut seas . . .

I really don't want to derail this topic, but what are you doing in Düsseldorf?

Not thats its terribly important and I don't want to derail this thread any further but I'm actually at work on the 20th (so still can't go) and in Dusseldorf on the 26th. :P

So what time is anyone getting there? I'm thinking of getting in for about 11, in order to avoid getting up hideously early.

I shall have to be up fairly early just to get there for 11. But it won't be the 4am start I usually have on a Saturday. 6am counts as a lay in!
