Show me your books! Have you made a library yet?

I'm Saloninus, by the way. And I tell lies, from time to time. Which goes to prove the old rule; never entirely trust a man who talks about himself in the third person.

I'm a minimalist, so I live with as few things as possible.  A task made infinitely difficult with three children.

So I own a kindle, and I allow the kids to own paperback books of which they have hundreds.  Mostly Roald Dahl (the boys are 5, and the daughter isn't even 1. All her books are waterproof/made from felt/generally rubbish)

Ooh, can I play? I'm new, hello!

This is my reading nook/bar and it makes me happier than most things. :)

I've slowly started turning the inside of my locker into a hide-away library, but that's still me doing my best to resist attempts at building a physical one.

@Wol Lovely nook there! I especially liked the star fighters on the walls and the longship :)

Thank you for the kind words and the welcome! I love the longship too, I made it when I decided to have a wild flirtation with model building which lasted exactly one third of the time it took to build my first model. I swear nothing in this world has ever made me swear as much as building that bloody longship did. ;D

With respect, less pictures of the books and more of the bar.  What Ale do you have? Is it draught or beer? is it SESSION?

I'll be sure to get on that for you when I get home. ;D

The bar contains mostly liquor at the moment, though eventually as sort of a life goals type thing I hope to sort out a kegerator to fit in there and set up tap handles. We homebrew, but we're not quite advanced to the kegging stage yet so I'm still stuck washing bottles. Last thing I brewed was a black IPA, about 5%. Living in the PNW it's basically considered a crime to not like IPAs, and I do, but truth be told given the choice I prefer a good stout or porter (particularly the imperial variety). Right now Cavatica Stout by Fort George is a big favorite of mine. :D
