I think there is a self publishing section for you to post those deals in. This thread is intended for books which have been published by a publisher.

Well, I can lawfully state I am a publisher. Registered as such in the Netherlands et all.

But if I'm in the wrong place, I won't quibble :) Perhaps, to prevent further mix-ups,  a moderator would be so kind as to transport me to the right spot? Many thanks!

Is everyone aware of Read an Ebook Week at Smashwords? Loads of books are marked down, some to almost nothing if not free. You can filter to see just Fantasy or Science Fiction books too. I always check both as a lot of Fantasy authors are putting their books in scifi to get away from the Romance authors.

Tor Books offering these two:

http://www.tor.com/blogs/2014/03/free-ebook-editions-of-nebula-award-finalist-novellas-qburning-girlsq-and-qwakulla-springsq

"Burning Girls", by Veronica Schanoes
"Wakulla Springs", by Andy Duncan and Ellen Klages

Never read any of them, but hey, free books are always welcome. If they're good, even better.

Great thread! Could we maybe actually sticky this and put it in Fantasy Book Discussion?

After reading someone recommending David Dalglish last night I went and looked him up - turns out the first in his "Half-Orcs" series - The Weight of Blood - is free in the uk Kindle store. FREE!  :D

Night Of Wolves is also free :) Not read anything by him but its worth picking up and giving him a try for free.

I've not seen it mentioned elsewhere on FF, so I guess I'll do the honours.
The Humble eBook Bundle 3 runs for another couple of days.

The Happiest Days of Our Lives (Wil Wheaton)
Tithe (Holly Black)
Jumper (Steven Gould)
Zombies Versus Unicorns (Various)
Mogworld (Yahtzee Croshaw)
Uglies (Scott Westerfeld)
The God Engines (John Scalzi)
Bleeding Violet (Dia Reeves)
Arcanum 101 (Mercedes Lackey and Rosemary Edghill)
To Be or Not To Be (Ryan North)
Homeland (audiobook, Cory Doctorow)

I haven't heard of most of those authors, but the Humble Bundles do tend to be quite good collections I think.

Both of Wesley Chu's Tao books are a kindle daily deal today for $1.99 each. Our book club read Lives of Tao and it was well received. I also read Deaths of Tao. Highly recommend both books!
