Dragon Wing, the first book of The Death Gate Cycle by Weis and Hickmann is on sale for $0.99 today. It is far superior to Dragonlance in my opinion, and one of the more creative series I've read.

According to the Orbit newsletter, the whole Brent Weeks' Lightbringer series is having a deal on ebook.

Even though he turned things a bit awkward in book 4, I still love books 1-3 and can't wait for the last one, later this year :D

THE BLACK PRISM - £1.99
THE BLINDING KNIFE - £2.99
THE BROKEN EYE - £2.99
THE BLOOD MIRROR - £2.99

I know I'm a month late seeing this. But I loved Death Gate too. I don't think it beats my teenage affection for dragonlance but it was a wonderful series with creative world building

If Dragonlance appeared on Kindle, I'd be all over it.

Harper Voyager Kindle bargains:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=B078TYRXR1%7CB076P3VKR6%7CB00I7K2FZ8%7CB002RI9DD8%7CB01NAE8AW4&i=digital-text&tag=smarturl-gb-21&ref=nb_sb_noss

Including Grey Sister at £1.99 and Temeraire at £0.99

Not sure Mark Lawrence will like us buying his book for cheap. I am sure DODO by Neal Stephenson is always on offer!  Bit like Children of Time. That is always on offer as well.

I thought that any variance to the official price was borne by the sellers, no?

Is that right? Hope so cos I always buy ebooks at cheap price and feel a bit guilty.

Not any more, I don't think. For the big five (are there still five? I forget) the price is set by the publisher so they must be taking the hit.

The way I see it, it's more between me buying the book or me not buying the book, and the first is infinitely better than the second, even if the second is only pennies.

Yup. If it wasn't a lot better for the publisher too they wouldn't be doing this. And I'm going to guess its better for the authors too, even if its really annoying, although I don't know what royalty price they get for discounted e-copies anyway.

Jade city by Fonda Lee is only £1.99 (ebook)

I haven't read it, but I got the promotion mail so I thought I'd share.
