It doesn't help with Ebooks but if anyone needs a UK/English copy of a book due to later/no release date in your country I am happy to ship one for UK postage + cover price.

This title is available to UK customers only.

doh.  i used a london vpn and everything.  stupid un-trickable database.

I have a "fake" UK Amazon account, used the address of a London hotel I found on Google.  With the VPN it's worked everytime although I have had the occasional credit card authorization runaround.

hrm.  that's starting to smell suspiciously like 'effort'.  more effort than the current $5 premium is worth.  more effort than simply waiting until i'm ready to dig it out of my tbr pile, just in case they figure out dropping the price by half has three times the sellthrough.

meh.  waiting.

I do use a free VPN....

Hi everybody. Hope I am not breaking any forum rules posting this here, as I am the author.

My first novel, When Destinies Collide, is available for the kindle free, on a special promotion until the end of Tuesday. The offer is for all territories.

Amazon UK: http://amzn.to/1Odv2jj

Amazon US: http://amzn.to/1PUNZHy

About When Destinies Collide
The shred of parchment Richard Bymoor holds in his hands is tattered, worn, and centuries old. Such a little thing—but the thirty-four-year-old king of Driniri senses it has the potential to devastate kingdoms, especially when neighboring Raimar risks war by attempting to steal the relic.

Forced to confer with his estranged brother Markus, Richard and his trusted mentor William Coleburn discover the parchment piece is one of ten tied to an ancient power that could lay waste to Driniri. Raimar seeks this power—and is preparing for war.

Outmanned, Richard and Markus decide on a desperate course of action. While the Driniri army runs interference, a small strike force led by the brothers braves the unknown lands, flanking the Raimar forces in an attempt to assassinate the Raimar leader, Lord Gamil.

But something is lurking in the unknown lands, a force that could bring a swift end to the brothers’ quest. And even if they make their way to Gamil, the Raimar leader is heavily defended. To succeed, Richard and Markus must accomplish the impossible—or Driniri falls.

Picked it up.
Sorry, but it'll be after a bunch of other things in the TBR.
Good luck with it!

Saga Press has put a lot of their ebooks on sale for $2.99.

Here are some of the titles included (there are more. I did notice not all of them show up in the B&N list for some reason)

Grace of Kings by Ken Liu
Cold Iron by Stina Leicht,
Blackbirds by Chuck Wendig (if you haven't read this one, it was a book club read a couple years ago),
Lagoon by Nnedi Okorafor,
Silver on the Road by Laura Ann Gilman,
Criminal Magic by Lee Kelly,
Six-Gun Snow White by Catherynne M. Valente
The Gospel of Loki by Joanne M. Harris
Our Lady of the Ice by Cassandra Rose Clarke

Here's links to Amazon and Barnes and Noble

@Arry, if I were to purchase two, which would you recommend?

Total self-promotion - sorry!

However, The Stone Road is free for the next few days to celebrate the release of the third and final book in the trilogy. That means you can get all 3 books for 4$/£/Euros. Pretty damn cheap that!

MORE INFO HERE <--- Link Link Link

End of self-promotion, but it is a bargain :)

@Arry, if I were to purchase two, which would you recommend?

I hate to admit it, but I really haven't read that many of Saga's titles yet. They are a new imprint, so that doesn't help, but still. I have some catching up to do. I have read Grace of Kings and all the Miriam Black books. Love all of those, so I recommend them. The Miriam Black books are very sardonic, which I love, but not everyone does.

For titles I have not yet read that I really want to because I've heard good things about them:

Lagoon (I read Okorafor's novella Binti and loved it, so have been wanting to read one of her full length novels)
Cold Iron
Criminal Magic,
Our Lady of the Ice (I have this one, just haven't gotten to it yet)

I know some people that have read Six Gun Snow White and absolutely loved it. I haven't decided if it sounds like quite my thing yet

I don't know that I'm much help! Too many books that I want to read :)
