Author Topic: SciFi/Fantasy art by WillowRaven ... a personal portfolio thread.  (Read 3623 times)

Offline AidanaWillowRaven

My initial thread was started back in 2011, before there was an art section. Since then, I forgot about my thread, lost track of this forum, re-discovered it today, and saw how much my work has changed a bit in the interim.

I was going to update my old thread, then someone recommended a re-post. Since a new post will be easier than trying to update the old one, I'm going with new, lol.

Now watch me screw this up ... lol.

My five latest book cover projects (any way to reduce the scale?):

I particularly like Weaver of Dreams.

Scale of photo...
When you type the left hand "img" control, add " height=300" or 400 or whatever.

But I didn't type img ... I used the icon above :(

I assume there is a code equivalent?

If you modify the post now, you can see the "img" embedded in the post and add the "height=300" inside the bracket.

Sent you personal message.

OK ... After seeing how your code looked, I c/p to get the same result. Is there any way to edit the code so they sit side by side versus vertical?

Ah, now that is definitely a question for more knowledgable folk than I.
@Arry? @Raptori?

Well, at least they look more manageable now and not so over-powering, lol.

Just don't click <enter> after each image code, just give it a few spaces but keep all within the same 'sentence'/line

Like this (I will then delete it once you've changed yours - use 'quote' to check my post):

Of all of them I prefer Arise to Fall, but I do like how the style has been subtly altered with each of them to fit the style of the book.
I will expand your TBR pile.

That was so stupid-easy, it never occurred to me, ScarletBea, lol. Thanks :D

Thanks, Elfy :D Because I don't want everyone's book to look the same, I try to alter the look just a little to give it it's own style. Plus, authors have requests like ' more traditional' or 'painted' or 'comic book' feel.
