My Own Book Cover

I made this bookcover through the program canvas for one of my own novels. What do you guys think about it? I'm still an amateur at this though, so don't expect too much, ahah.

Please, your cover is the most important part of your book. Don't neglect it. Hire someone to do it for you, there's artwork or people available for as low as $50.

The impression I had was that you took an ingame screenshot of Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and wrote the title and description in Paint.

Not the impression you want to give to any potential reader.

I kind of like it though.
Never like Elder Scrolls games, so I don't have that impression. Compared so some others of yours its kind of bland though

It's really a screenshot from skyrim lol (although admittedly not mine). That besides, wow, if I gave the impression that I am officially publishing the book then I must apologize. I write purely as a hobby (although I do enjoy that quite a lot), and this is for a writing website that I had put my stories on, that's all. I certainly had no hope of ever publishing with my amateur skill level ahah. Maybe someday I'm going to print out the stories, put it into a book for me to look at, and place it on my bookshelf or something, and that's pretty much it.   ;)

Ah, I see. I simply assumed the best case scenario. I guess for fun anything goes, so nothing to worry there!

I have a hard time reading the tagline on the top of cover since its color is too similar to the background. Maybe change the font color so that it stands out more?
