Fantasy Cartographer For Hire
« on: July 24, 2014, 01:01:35 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm a fantasy cartographer specialising in world/region maps, though I also offer city and basic encounter maps. I have worked on commissions in the past mainly for fantasy authors, including M.R. Mathias and Dayne Edmondson, and an indie RPG (not yet published).

I'm focusing on building my portfolio right now, so I'm open to small projects as well as larger ones. My fees vary between projects and I'm happy to provide you with a quote once I learn more about your requirements.

My work can be found on my deviantArt (http://cirias.deviantart.com/) and my official portfolio (http://thefantasycartographer.wordpress.com/)

You can contact me directly (cirias@live.co.uk) or just drop me a PM right here. I look forward to working with you!

Here are some examples of past commissions and maps:

I love your maps :D
(but I'm just a reader, who loves maps in general, and schematics, and organisation, hehe)
At home in the Fantasy Faction forum!

Thanks both of you for your kind words. The satisfaction is in knowing someone enjoys the maps I create :)

Fallen One - I only accept Paypal for payments right now, so absolutely no problem there. Look forward to hearing from you!

I'm working on another map right now with a "realistic" style, so I'll post that up once I've finished adding labels and finishing touches.

Here are a couple more maps I completed recently. These are city/town maps - one in summer and the same city again during the winter  :D

Will do. Under a massive pile of manuscripts at the moment, so as soon as I dig myself out (end of the week?) I'll drop you an e-mail.

Thank you, glad you like them! A fantasy book isn't a fantasy book without a map  ;D

For some reason, I can't actually see the maps, and the websites referenced earlier in the post have been removed.

This is really wonderful stuff! I have a high fantasy on submission with publishers right now and you can be sure that if I sign a contract, I'll recommend you for the map work!
