Sennydreadful/Eli/Any other authors -

I apologise if my tone came across as hectoring, it wasn't meant to and I totally understand that people are busy and don't always have time for forums.

Part of the reason I'm being so loud about this is to persuade people that we should reach out to the authors and make them aware it's going on and invite them to come in say hi, plug if they want to. I know people are only on this list if they've posted a fair bit to begin with, I'm fairly sure no one's deliberately ignoring it just because. And to say that hey, I *do* want to hear from the authors - I know that some people don't want to overstep the line, or be seen as sticking their oar in unwantedly. Well, I want to see oars in the water :)

I guess my argument is, as much as anything, "Hey, let's make sure all these authors know, so they can come and join in the fun and not miss out an opportunity". I haven't expressed it too well.

p.s. Eli, I haven't forgotten about that review, life's been busy but hopefully you'll get it soon.

A lot of authors frequent the Fantasy-Faction Facebook group too... I would put this up on there, but it seems a little, well... doesn't it?

I don't do Facebook so those authors are missing out on this reader  ;D
I'm Saloninus, by the way. And I tell lies, from time to time. Which goes to prove the old rule; never entirely trust a man who talks about himself in the third person.

Yes, social media has been pointed out to me as a very important tool for indie authors. But I find social media so utterly uninteresting. I don't want to do a two-hour chore every day that bores me to tears. Writing is a better use of my time than Facebook or Twitter. I don't really understand how to use either, nor do I see the appeal.
I'll notify your next of kin... that you sucked!

The Fantasy-Faction facebook group is easy to dip into... lots of chat about books, ruthlessly policed by Marc and Jennie :)

Only just popped into this forum, so had no idea my book was up for a possible discussion two months ago :) I appreciate even being considered, so thank you.
I tend to frequent a couple of the other forums when I pop in, posting when I think I can add value, but missed this.

If anyone ever has a question about Snakewood just DM me, glad to chat.
