If you nominated a book that wins you must be active in the book club , people used to vote for favourite books and then there never turned up to post.

That was very fluffing annoying, wasn't it?

Well, I think Jmack was trying to distinguish between those that came in, took a look, posted a couple of times, and left, and those that spend real time here chatting about something-else-other-than-their-books, no?

I know I would find the latter more interesting.

Does "published" mean "published by an actual publisher"? Because if not, you've left me out.
I'll notify your next of kin... that you sucked!

I also didn't mention tebakutis, TOMunro, Geoff and three dozen other self-published and normal published authors.
That's why I said the list was incomplete and not up to date. It's just copied from an old staff thread.

Thanks, @xiagan. I am interested in the larger list, but yes, SB is right about my initial focus.

I'm putting together a short list of books we can schedule over the next few months. More to come shortly.

I'm just glad I don't qualify as 'old staff' :) My first article came out on June 19th 2014... I'll have to think of something special for my two year anniversary :)

I'm sure some of them could be activated for a Q&A. Probably not Sanderson or Lynch, but if there's an author on the list you/we really want it wouldn't hurt to ask. :)

I know Peter Newman would be up for it. He joined after I mentioned it in last year's Grim Gathering, but he then told me he simply didn't have the time to be present regularly. His first book, The Vagrant, would definitely be right for good questions hehe

But I know what Jmack wants: give the regulars some 'present' for being regulars ;D afterwards, we may think of the others. Or maybe both at the same time, hehe?

If you nominated a book that wins you must be active in the book club , people used to vote for favourite books and then there never turned up to post.

That was very fluffing annoying, wasn't it?

Yes it was, I think the problem is that there read the winning book already

They still could have flicked through their copy, and recalled what was so great about the book that they decided to vote for and push other people to read it.

The Foundling by DM Cornish, The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland, The Dirty Streets of Heaven, and my all time favourite: Armor by John Steakly which no one read (which made you wonder who voted for it?)

Coincidence that Bea suddenly has a vacation to be going on?
