I'll second this :)

That is nine books now that have seconds. When's the last time that happened?

I'm not sure if we have had quite that many since we instituted the rule requiring a second :) Popular month. It'll be interesting to see how voting goes with so many great books to choose from!!

The Gates of Ivrel (Part of the Chronicles of Morgaine), CJ CHerryh.

Seconded.  It's pushing twenty years since I read that.  I've been itching for an excuse to revisit it.

I did have a couple of things to nominate, but given the number of nominations I'll save them for another time.  Maybe next time we do 'classics', it could be narrowed down to a single decade?

I'll second Black Company and The Dragonbone Chair.

I'll nominate A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Leguin and Nine Princes of Amber by Roger Zelazny.

Gonna third Black Company and The Dragonbone Chair.

Ooh! Ooh! I'd also like to nominate The Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson. Another one to try to scratch off my "shame" list.

Seconded. Never would've thought it is that old already, but it is indeed published in '99.

I've read it but would love to see other peoples thoughts on it.

I'm torn between a series book or a non-series book. But, while I ponder, I quintuple-nominate The Hobbit.
