Voting is now open!! I gave everyone 2 votes, and am running the poll for 5 days, if we need more, I can extend it, but for now am setting it at that. If there are not 2 books you want to read with book club, feel free to just vote for one.

(also, I seconded Devices and Desires as I made the poll :) )

I was the only vote for Paksennarion, so I switched to A Crown for Cold Silver. Which I just finished as a recorded book, and it's really, really good.

Paksennarion sounded interesting, but I couldn't get a hold of the book so I didn't vote for it. I probably could have gotten it on amazon, but we currently have a love-hate relationship when it comes to me ordering books :P.

So, the run-off vote ended in a tie (I admit, I didn't give it very long). But even still, it only has 4 votes, 2 for each book. Not exactly a stellar showing.  :-\ Before the run-off there were only 6 votes.

I am going to propose skipping book club for August. If anyone wants to organize a read-along, feel free :) But, with the current votes, I don't know that it looks like it will get much interest.


We DO have book club planned for September (The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet), and I'd love to see a good turn out for that one.

Probably a good idea. I don't get any reading done at the moment, but this will get better in autumn, so this works for me. :)
