Woo Hoo TBKS! It's a very worthy win. Smart story, interesting hero and her situation. One of the most on-topic of all the entries, too. Congrats! Your first win, probably not your last.

Holy cow, that's awesome! I really enjoyed the other stories (some great fiction) so I'm flattered people liked my submission. I got the idea over lunch while pondering the theme, and it was fun to write.

Thank you folks!

Well deserved win @tebakutis, good political story, enjoyed clever negotiations and little twist was bonus. ;D

Also specially enjoyed stories by @Jmack, @Rukaio_Alter and @Nora, but the whole selection was fun and clever. Turned out to be an excellent theme, with so many different intrigues. ;D

Congrats Tebakutis! It wasn't too surprising a win, on such a hard theme and topic!  :P

I really voted for the small fringe this month, so I'll give my congrats to Henry Dale, @Elfy and @ClintACK too! It was a tough month.

I went my own way as well this month. The top two were really good, but I was just struck by @Elfy's, @wakarimasen's, @Lady_Ty's, and @Doctor_Chill's. As always, it's a surfeit of good choices!

Congrats, @tebakutis. Well deserved. Well deserved, indeed.

@Raptori & @Saurus along with @AlanBrenik stole my vote this time. Good competition this round, and thanks for all that voted for mine!

PS: Also wanted to mention that my story this round was based on a true story. Perks of knowing people who work in law enforcement. ;)
