In September, we'll be reading The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North. Looks both different and intriguing! Looking forward to it. So, who's going to join us?

The extraordinary journey of one unforgettable character - a story of friendship and betrayal, loyalty and redemption, love and loneliness and the inevitable march of time.

Harry August is on his deathbed. Again.

No matter what he does or the decisions he makes, when death comes, Harry always returns to where he began, a child with all the knowledge of a life he has already lived a dozen times before. Nothing ever changes.

Until now.

As Harry nears the end of his eleventh life, a little girl appears at his bedside. 'I nearly missed you, Doctor August,' she says. 'I need to send a message.'

This is the story of what Harry does next, and what he did before, and how he tries to save a past he cannot change and a future he cannot allow.

Week 1 = Chapters 1 - 24
Week 2 = Chapters 25 - 46
Week 3 = Chapters 47 - 64
Week 4 = Chapters 65 - end

Passed up the chance to review this. I think I might.

I will be reading looks interesting. Can I just bring something to your attention. I have been using the Tapatalk app on my nexus for browsing the forum and the thread for voting for the September group read book does not appear to be on there(unless I am looking in the wrong place). Only noticed the thread when I entered the forum through the FF website.

So glad you can join us!

Unfortunately the lack of polling on Tapatalk is out of our control, it's a limitation of the application. It has been a little while this came up last, so I will look around a bit and see if there are any updates made to Tapatalk.

I guess I will! This seems like a very interesting book! I am such a slow reader, I'm still busy with Red Rising (will skip Promise of Blood though as that doesn't appeal to me).

Suggestion for chapter breaks.....

Week 1 = 1 - 24
Week 2 = 25 - 46
Week 3 = 47 - 64
Week 4 = 65 - end

Lots of small chapters for this one which will be handy, but the book isn't overly long - each week is approx 100 pages.

Thank You!!! I was logging on to ask if someone could do this since I have an audiobook again this month.

Finished Red Rising today (I wrote my opinion in the Red Rising forum in the book club). On to the next one! This little forum really motivates me to read, as long as the book appeals to me. And this one and Red Rising definitely did/do!
