It's time to vote on the November Writing Contest: "Arch Enemies"
This time we got just 4 entries - thanks to all who participated.
Please read through all of the entries in the submission thread and place your votes for your favourite entry in this thread. You won't be able to see the vote breakdown until the vote closes, so spread the word for others to come and vote! We do ask that if you entered, to vote for someone else.
The key for the numbers of votes is this: 1-5 entries: 1 vote, 5-10 entries: 2 votes, 11-15 entries: 3 votes, 16-19: 4 votes, 20-25: 5 votes, 26+: 6 votes
Remember that the winning entry will be posted on the main Fantasy-Faction site in a few months.
Good luck to all our entrants and thank you for taking the time to read the stories and vote! :)

Congratulations @bdcharles, what a good start of the year!
This month I voted for @JMack, his was my favourite story :D

Blimmin' eck, I'm liking that start to the year! Thank you to all who voted for my entry :) I voted for "Balance" by @Alex Hormann this time. The voice was super evocative, almost fable-y, and with some great imagery and motifs throughout.

Congrats! I voted for your story—enjoyed it.

Congrats, @bdcharles! ;D

Congrats, @bdcharles. I voted for “Fuh”, too, and really enjoyed the unbridled feel of it. And LESION! What a horrible, wonderful name for a blade. I would love to read a true story structure around the concepts you created. So many questions! But maybe the Purple Mages just dont want them answered...

Thanks @JMack! Those Purple Mages and their endless demands, eh? I'm glad you liked it. I wasn't sure if the title/name "Fuh" was a bit silly (you can probably tell how little thought I put into that particular part:) ) so if I do write more around it, which I am definitely in the mood for, I may change the name. Lesion stays, though, for sure :) I'll see to it that it inflicts some serious scars on its journey.
And I've just had some further thoughts around the story too, so thanks for prompting those. Mmmmm new epic fantasy projects mmmmmm
