Mine wasn't fantasy and I just didn't have another one in me this month.

I've been working on one that isn't turning out the way I wanted. So expect a hasty first draft of something completely new at midnight on the 30th.

Damn I'm really in a creative and motivational slump these days. No will to write, no enjoyment in it and no drive to come up with anything. Hope I won't get aggravated with my story and diss it. Couldn't write more than a 100 words yesterday before getting fed up.

The Dec. theme isn't up yet but I've already half-written my sherlanko story.

Well, I'm in. Couldn't get my original idea to come together to my satisfaction, so I thought I'd throw something more experimental out there.

If I can get tomorrow (the 1st) to work on it, I ought to be able to make it. It's been hectic for me recently, and tomorrow is my day off - at last.

Working on the story right now I swear!

And me! Can I have until tomorrow night, US time?

Hello everyone! My name's Norm.

I was an aspiring author, once upon a time. I used to participate in the SFFWorld forum contests (and perhaps will participate in them again in the future, although that forum seems to have really died down.) Hoping re-ignite the spark by getting involved in this forum's short story contests. I posted an entry into this month's contest, and hopefully you'll be seeing more of me in the month's to come!

Yay! More stories and newbies :D

Thread definitely open until tonight, and then I guess everyone will be in except @Lanko and I have to wait some more ;)

OMG. Done.

Pretty pleased with my decision to stick to the journal format, as doing the ending in present tense from a second character's pov was eating away at my word count so fast I could not reasonably wrap it up in 1.5k words.

Thanks for the extra time!

I swear I don't go intentionally on vacation when the new contest should be out. ;)

It will be there in a few hours and it will be AWESOME.
