My entry so far. It's not quite at the word limit yet but it's getting there.

I forgot the words to this song... and this story

Hmm hummm mmmmmm... -mm-mm-hmmmmm
Doo-doo di di doooo; hmmmm uhhhh errr.. hummmmmm-mmm-mm!
Hmm hummm mmmmmm Doo-doo di di doooo
di di doooo mmmmmm hummmmmm

Uh... wait a second... ummmmm

hummm mmmmmm hummmmmm-mmm-mm!
-mm-mm-hmmmmm doooo di di Doo-doo
Hmm hummm mmmmmm doooo di di Doo-doo

doooooo!

Sorry, Bradley,  grammar really screwed. Need to edit and apostrophes missing.

I've got a little over 900 words down on the page, but I'm not sure how strong the theme is shining through. It might work, though it's not the most exciting thing. The ending still isn't written so I'm not sure how it will turn out.

I'm in! I can't say I was enthusiastic about the theme when I first saw it, but I'm pleased with the direction I took with it.

Can we please keep this open until tomorrow morning? I'll be off to work at 11.30am and if I don't have it then, I won't have it until night, so that's a good deadline for me. I saw my Australian managers for some drinks tonight during her brief stay in Edinburgh and if I don't cook before midnight I won't get to eat so... please! I'll try and post tonight or early in the morning.

**sorry for double post...

I'm in, but if I can still benefit from a midday close, I'll get to re-read myself in the morning... it's almost 2am now and I'm butchering the text trying to edit it. Not obliged, but if you'll indulge tire me, I'd be grateful!  ;D

Later than usual and not as exciting as my original idea which didn't pan out, but my story's in.

Well. Did what I could in the end. Really not happy with any of my three different stories for this month. All needed way more space to expend. This is as good as it'll get in 1.5k though. Thanks for waiting.

This would have been a great theme for me b/c my WIP is totally all about weaving music (bards songs and legends and whatnot) into the story. (haha my prologue would have been perfect if you accepted old stuff!) But I'm totally overwhelmed with no chance of even starting something....

I'm just really pleased that 12 got in before the deadline.
I like a good solid number each month. And I especially like having newbies and vets mixed in.

What a totally loving, imaginative set of stories.  Loved reading them. Now I have to vote. Yuck.
