[May 2015] - Fairytales - Voting Thread
« on: June 02, 2015, 12:00:21 PM »
It's time to vote on May's Writing Contest: Fairy Tales

And we have 17 entries third time in a row! How do you do this? ;)

Thanks for taking part, all of you. It's awesome to see the resonance to our writing contests month after month. :)

Please read through all of the entries in the submission thread and place your votes for your four favorite entries in this thread. You won't be able to see the vote breakdown until the vote closes, so spread the word for others to come and vote! We do ask that if you entered, to vote for someone else.

The key for the numbers of votes is this: 1-5 entries: 1 vote, 5-10 entries: 2 votes, 11-15 entries: 3 votes, 16-19: 4 votes, 20+: 5 votes

Remember that the winning entry will be posted on the main Fantasy-Faction site in a few months.

Good luck to all our entrants and thank you for taking the time to read the stories and vote! :)

PS: JMACK, J9AC9K and JAK aren't the same person, I checked.  ;D ;)

I really should have written a story called "The Goating Star."
Of course, I didn't.  :P

Clearly, you should be disqualified because of that.

This month is hard to pick just four.  Last month I left a vote unused.  Can I use that this month?

Gosh Clint, I'm like you!
I've just started reading and already I've got many favourites, all worth a vote. I will need to start nitpicking :'(

Makes me wonder how big a difference the reading order makes - I guess it depends on the stories, but I can imagine it being pretty significant.  :-\

Raptori, not for me. I pay the same attention to your story, being last, as to Waka's, the first. I don't read them all in one go, and when I feel myself getting bored, I stop and continue some other time.

Haha I completely forgot that we were last last month!  :o We've almost finished our story for this month already, so hopefully we won't leave it that late this time.

I generally read them all in one go, probably shouldn't do that I guess...  :P

You could see it either way. Is the first better because it's the first or is the last better because it is the most fresh before the voting? I think it doesn't really matter. :)

9 votes so far, btw.

Yeah, I thought of that too, I guess it might cancel itself out overall. I always note down ratings for all the stories as I go along so that freshness isn't an issue.

Nice! I'll vote after we've written our story for this month I think. :)

Haven't started reading that month... Nor started writing this month...   :'( :(

We left both to the last minute for the last few months, it wasn't that big a problem in the end.  :)

But there are two of you and one of me... No one motivates me around me, everyone distracts me instead!
I'll try my best but I'm not the kind of person who gets motivated by deadlines that have no real pressure on me.

Lol we're easily distracted too, though we're always more productive when we have deadlines so I guess that's the difference!  :P
