I've read all the entries. . . No idea who I'm voting for yet. A couple of entries stood out a bit above the rest, but none of the entries absolutely wowed me. . . I think it might have something to do with the theme; it seems to lend itself to a first person narrative that either ends up feeling info-dumpy, or ends up leaving the reader a bit in the dark about certain details of the characters; a letter from one person to another is not inherently designed to provide information for anyone else (i.e: the reader.) It's a tricky balance to get right, making a letter seem genuine, while simultaneously keeping the reader in the loop about what's taking place.

@Bender There is a month after submissions close for voting to be done. So voting  won’t close until about 1st May. I love your enthusiasm, but you have to give everyone a chance to read all the stories and decide. We do not comment on individual stories until after the results come out, so as not to affect other people’s impression of each entry.

Once voting is over you can ask for comments or a critique and you may even get a detailed one, or just brief comments on what was liked best in your story. You must make it clear that you would like that, as some people don’t.

I haven’t even begun to read yet, so good luck.   You could pass the time by writing an entry for this month, Maiden, Mother, Crone.  ;D

Voted, but apologies @ScarletBea, you have two messages because I thought we only had two votes, then pleased to see we had three and could add an extra one. ;D

No worries, we just want votes.

I've just started reading, I realised I only have 1 week left to do it properly.
Everyone else actually has until the 5th May, when I return from my holidays - sorry to those anxious to know the results...

Read and voted, so I can tell you:

Any clear leader or is it close?
With 9 people having already voted, we currently have a tie at the top, then one close-ish.
But there's still 1 week to go, remember...

Voted.  Always interesting to see how everyone approaches the theme and this month was certainly no exception.
