pssst.  @D_Bates -- doesn't the prose have to be at least 500 words long?

unless that's a poem, i suppose.

I knew instantly that you meant "smart ass" and failed to see the CCCP too...

@xiagan, where are the likes? ;D
I can see them just fine. ;) (thanks, Arry!)

Yep, I think it looks like prose, so sorry, you need a further 255 words :-\

Format it like a poem.
Modern poems don't rhyme anyways.  ;)

I was pushing for a more poetic side this time. But I may or may not add to it. The month is young!

I've never really been fussed about the competition anyway :p. So long as people can get some sort of enjoyment from it. Flashfiction was a thing a few months back, anyway!

oh, don't you worry.  just because that one comment wasn't all cccp'd up, doesn't mean i'm not a walking hr nightmare.  (pun intended)

but thanks for getting back to me!  it's great to see such a nice lass, and don't worry, we've never doubted how smart you were!

p.s.  i quite possibly could be the cleverest person on the entire planet.  just sayin'.

p.p.s.  with a magician's misdirection skill even!

p.p.p.s. #cccp

@D_Bates : ages no see! Welcome back! However... is your sub poetry or prose? Because prose is 500 words minimum isn't it?

Ants are awesome, though I'm more spooked by termites, since they get these horrible squishy bodies. But then again ants are the ones who can eat humans so...

Hmm...so many to choose from my own experience...crocodiles eating Santa, roller coaster sleigh ride of doom (same dream as the crocodiles eating Santa), rats with demon faces, running Youtuber zombies...

I dunno.  Those are all winners imo.  This might be fun.  Think I'll join in this month.

I can't decide whether to go with a humorous take on the subject that won't seem serious enough....or something a bit darker that may be depressing and come with a disclaimer
