Finished , struggled with this one doubt I be carrying on with the series.

Unfortunately with all the stuff going around at the moment and the forum unexpectedly taken down  I’ve  lost my notes.

While I absolutely loved this book, and I thought the ending was fantastic--what a very Gideon way to go out--I find myself a little uncertain about the next book. I mean... GIDEON! (The problem with such a strong character is how do you carry on without her?) But there are a lot of interesting loose ends about the world and the scenario, and I find myself intrigued about how Harrow will carry Gideon with her (literally and figuratively) and, bottom line, I trust the author to do interesting and entertaining (for me, at least!) things.

Gideon's body being missing is a clue for potential revival, I think.

Also Third books is titled Alecto the Ninth which is an introduced character. So we may see yet another protagonist shift away from Harrow.

I'm not sure I'd be happy with a revival unless it came with some significant twist or downside--but I trust Muir to have a handle on that.
