[JUN 2020] - Track Marks - Voting Thread
« on: July 05, 2020, 02:27:03 PM »
It's time to vote on the June Writing Contest: "Track Marks"

This time we got just 3 entries - still, thanks to all who participated!

Please read through all of the entries in the submission thread and place your votes for your favourite entry in this thread. You won't be able to see the vote breakdown until the vote closes, so spread the word for others to come and vote! We do ask that if you entered, to vote for someone else.

The key for the numbers of votes is this: 1-5 entries: 1 vote, 6-10 entries: 2 votes, 11-15 entries: 3 votes, 16-19: 4 votes, 20-25: 5 votes, 26+: 6 votes

Remember that the winning entry will be posted on the main Fantasy-Faction site in a few months (I'm still hopeful of getting the access to do this...)

Good luck to all our entrants and thank you for taking the time to read the stories and vote! :)

(still) NEW FEATURE: note that the voting deadline is now the 26th July, which will leave the last week of the month for feedback/critique availability.

Oh dear, you don't help, do you?
I've read 2 of the 3 stories (not in order, or maybe in order ;)), and I've got two 5/5!
How will I be able to choose?

Edit: read all and voted. It could have gone either way, in the end went with a slightly more favourite hehe

Voted! Tough choice, all stories had some great stuff to recommend them.

Oh I forgot this closed yesterday!

Congratulations @Caith on your first win! :D

I enjoyed your story as a fairytale retelling, but my vote went for @Alex Hormann , I really liked the heist and the characters!

Thank you to everyone who voted for my story and I'm really pleased folks enjoyed it. I certainly had a hoot writing it. Its the third one I've written about BB Wolf and his adventures in 1930's Los Angeles. The first was published last year and the second is out there now, in various writing competitions, awaiting judgement!

Hope to see more stories over the next couple of comps but that August one is tricky...
