Weird question, but if we don't win are we allowed to use them for other things? I sometimes post little stories and whatnot on my website and I'd like to do that if it doesn't get picked.
You can use it for whatever even if you win. It's your story.  ;)

Henry's right. It's yours and you keep all the rights.
But it counts as published by nearly every publisher so the one thing you can't do it enter it in contests or send it to magazine's who demand unpublished works.

Do you guys ever drop the following month's theme early?  I had time to write for the first time in ages yesterday and tonight but I figured it was too late for gangsters...
