@Lanko, if you don't stop watching the game and come post your story, I'll lock the thread NOW :P 8)

Damn, I'm still only 600 words in... I think this time I won't squeeze a story in the last minute...
Well, if you ask nicely...
It's still a few hours until the end of day 1 for you, right?

I stand with coffee in hand, working on my piece of art
So I can offer it to ScarletBea,
The Lady of Passion, Courage, Joy and Heart

And when she makes another wondrous cake
May she remember my story
For a laugh to take

I guarantee from this you will have some kicks
But for this, the number I need is six!

First attempt at poetry  ::)

I did it. Phew. This one was absolutely exhausting. There will be a day when I will miss a contest for not having ideas and not being able to squeeze a story in the last days, but let it be recorded that day is not today!

And despite my awesome poem, this is definitely not a comical story  ::)

privacy who?

m3mnoch is so romantic, believing this pitiful concept of "privacy" still exists  ::)

I saw critique threads on some of the other earlier story comps. Curious as to how that works? If that's a regular thing?

It's not something that happens regularly. I only saw two in about eight contests.

It happens when the demand is there. Anybody can open one, just use the first post template from another critique thread.

@Venandiaer, I've now created the critique thread, so feel free to ask!
And others too - I wonder if we can give our comments on the stories there, even if the authors haven't asked for them??

Maybe put comments for each author separately into spoilers. That way she/he can read them or not, as may choose.
