My very very favorite was @Carter 's tho, b/c HOLY SHIT IT WAS A CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE THATS THE COOLEST THING IVE EVER SEEN.

Thanks Bradley, I'm glad someone liked it - ok two someones at least - as the thought to do one as been sitting in my head for a while and this gave me an opportunity to try it.  I originally intended it to be much more than this as well, with more choices, and a vague idea to have it read as a story even if you expanded the lot and just read it beginning to end.  Unfortunately after a couple of drafts I realised I needed significantly more words than the contest allows!  As I said in the preamble I was a bit too ambitious to pull all of that off.
