Congratulations, Lanko!  :)

This is great I can see result too, congratulations  Lanko  that was a top story and you got my vote. Also voted Anonymous and tebakutis so I finally chose all three at top. All good stories this month altogether, though.

Congratulations @Lanko, it seems being the last pays off ;)

This month sorry but I didn't vote for you: mine went to @tebakutis, @ArcaneArtsVelho and @m3mnoch :)

I voted for @Lanko, @tebakutis, and @slywind.
Congrats, Lanko! Is this two months in a row, or two out of three?
You have a twisty mind that makes unexpected associations. It's really cool.

Slywind, congrats on a strong showing in your first contest. Loved your story.

Eric. Yeah. The usual. Excellence. Yada yada.  ;)

Wow. Damn. Awesome. Great!

Thanks to everyone who liked it! And with so much good entries and the close dispute, it makes victory all the sweeter!

You know what, I wrote absolutely nothing this month, closing Scrivener as soon as I opened it... now I'm back in high spirits and who knows, maybe I will even submit something for the Potion contest! And yes, Bea, sometimes the last do indeed become the first!

This month I voted for Alex Hormann (grimdark needs more cakes), Anonymous (I know it's you, GRRM) and @ArcaneArtsVelho.
Slow and steady wins the race.

congrats @Lanko!

while i didn't vote for you, i nearly did just for this one line alone:  "Let me know the rich juices of red meat and stinging wine on my palate on every meal, the hot embrace of a woman on every night, the mad exultation of battle when the blue blades flame and crimson, and I will ask for nothing more."

rawr!

oh, and i voted for anonymous, @tebakutis, and @slywind.

well done folks!

it was such a super-fun prompt.  makes me sad i didn't get to spend more time with it.  (oh, and thanks to my three voters!  i'm sorry the end was such a rush-and-jumbled-first-draft-mess.  and i had such high hopes for my idea too!)

Lanko! Nice job dude! *high five*

I also wanted to say (as others have) that I really enjoyed all the entries from the people who are participating for the first time. Your stories were great, and I hope to read more from you in the future. :)

Congratulations, @Lanko. I enjoyed your story very much. Everyone had good stories! I didn't get to write anything for the potions contest, but I plan to try my hand again for September. I struggle with anything sub-novella length (and also struggle with anything novella and novel length) so this is fun practice.

Heyyy I called it! I didn't even have to read the story, as soon as I saw the title I knew @Lanko would win. Congrats sir!  8)

I voted for @night_wrtr @m3mnoch and Anonymous.

Anonymous was probably my favourite. My prediction is they're actually Mr. Robot.
