I take that back. How the hell am I supposed to choose just three? I think this month's stories are among the strongest I've read since I started following this contest.

Grr. This is going to be difficult. Very well done, everyone.

EDIT: Also wanted to add ... it's great to see so many new people participating this month, and even better than they've brought so many strong stories. I was able to pick three based on unique elements that appealed to me, personally, but honestly, I could have picked any of the others and been perfectly content.

Looking forward to the results!
