Not being part of a competition for the month is making me twice as impatient as usual to get the next topic.  :-[

Write us a story about Harry Potter having a discussion over coffee with Frodo about how they were both chosen ones and how they wish they hadn't been. :)

No, I have a serious distaste for fanfiction, and not keen on using pre existing characters at all. I can't enter their psyche, don't want to either. My attempt last year bolstered my dislike and I don't plan on voting for the month either. It's like taking time off, and I've been somewhat productive for my own stories, but the monthly is just such a rush each month, I miss it.

I'm split in 2, AAV!
On the one hand, I just *love* your post (and the nesting), but on the other I'm screaming "Bad boy!!!" ;D

At least I only have 4 still to read (I guess I really needed the extra day after all ;) )

 :'(

Why are you guys saying this and making me sad?! Both were sort of hopeful stories, but I felt much more compelled by the esper one, which has a more concrete ending, way more action, etc. The graffiti might have been good if I had 2000 words for it.

@Nora it's a compliment!!!! Don't be sad!  I just particularly liked the graffiti artist one so much i wish it was around to vote for :)

Now I'm curious, as I didn't even get to read that story...

I always wait for m3mnoch's Kindle files.
