It seems Lanko set the winner, baring a last minute vote within the next hour hehe

And it seems my votes were all for underdogs hehe (apart from winner) - weird tastes, I guess :P

Eeeeeeehhhh!!! So close to three wins in a row! Curse that last second vote!

Still, massive congrats to a very worthy winner, @m3mnoch. Great story and more than worth taking the prize.

Yay, Thanks Bea, and whoever else found my private joke drug trip good.

Congrat m3m, I nearly voted for you, but not being much used to board games, I found the joke a tiny wee bit out of topic, and gave my vote instead to another I liked as much. Ended in you not needing my help.  :P

I voted for @Nestat, @Nerf, @tebakutis and @OnlyOneHighlander It was a close call between three of these to become my favorite, but I think OnlyOneHighlander steals it, because his story is

The end was just horrible to read, for someone who is battling cat fleas at the moment. I really felt for the poor character and loved the savage portrayal of the writer. That's who we are, totalitarian gods. xD

I could have easily voted for 4 more, there were many stories at almost the same level for me.

Jmack, I loved yours, but in the end, for me, it wasn't really a 'story' - sorry :-\

Congratulations, m3mnoch!  :)
Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

OMG YES!!!

i won, guys!  did you see that?!?  i NEVER win!

thank you so very much!  i just LOVE everybody right now!  WOOT!

... ahem.

*whew*

i'm truly honored.  there were lots of fun stories this month.  i kid you not -- i snortled, chuckled, or giggled at least once (after the first couple stories, i started counting) in every story that was funny.  after reading through all of them, it was so hard to pick one to win.  in the end, @tebakutis and his sponges were my favorite this month.  followed closely by @OnlyOneHighlander for his twisting/twisted plot and @Jmack for the innovation.  (i LOVE choose your own adventure stories)  my fourth vote, tho?  man, i had to choose (obviously from the results!) from like, half a dozen fabulous stories.  and, i couldn't.  so, i ended up just dropping my last vote, @Raptori style.

again, thanks guys!  i'm on cloud nine!

(Don't worry, I'm just joking.)

Mwahaha!

But last month I voted for both you and Jmack pretty late too, so I guess there I help set up the triple tie   ::)
On this one I got the tie breaker!

As for the votes:

@Nestat --> I liked how he played with the words.

@m3mnoch --> Silly unlucky knight and his rolls.

@Lady_Ty --> The descriptions reminded me of Agatha Christie style. Then I read that Orient Express reference. Yup, totally got my vote.

@tebakutis --> RPG section reference. If the sponge was a reference to something else, I didn't got it, but it was pretty funny anyway.

And about my own, thanks to those who voted for it! I'm also pretty happy, as I got double the amount of votes than last time, which is a sign of improvement  ;D

Slow and steady wins the race.
