[Jan 2016] - Breaking the fourth wall - Voting Thread
« on: February 01, 2016, 12:44:54 PM »
It's time to vote on January's Writing Contest: Breaking the Fourth Wall

We got 18 entries this month!

Thanks to all of you for participating - let's make 2016 even a better year than 2015, which was great :D

Please read through all of the entries in the submission thread and place your votes for your four favourite entries in this thread. You won't be able to see the vote breakdown until the vote closes, so spread the word for others to come and vote! We do ask that if you entered, to vote for someone else.

The key for the numbers of votes is this: 1-5 entries: 1 vote, 5-10 entries: 2 votes, 11-15 entries: 3 votes, 16-19: 4 votes, 20-25: 5 votes, 26+: 6 votes

Remember that the winning entry will be posted on the main Fantasy-Faction site in a few months.

Good luck to all our entrants and thank you for taking the time to read the stories and vote! :)

look at all these options!

the ugly rtf document is for @ScarletBea -- she likes to print them out.  this one, bea, is probably better than the html doc i gave you last time, but i really just need to take the time and make a nice stylesheet for it.

Thanks @m3mnoch my computer doesn't like your pretty nice text - says bits are missing ::)
But it loves the ugly rich text and so do I cos I can play around with the layout and read it more easily.

Do appreciate that you do this for us  ;D

I love the epubs. They're awesome.

Folks may need to read mine in the Forum itself, though, to enjoy it as much as I hope you will.
It uses spoilers extensively, and these don't translate to ebook that well, I think.

Forgot to say my vote is in. I had to pick between two good stories for the fourth spot.

Thanks, just opened it and could format everything to my heart's content ;D

Just one watch out: all the stories after the one that alternated straight font with italics showed up in italics, I brought them back to normal.
So many, and less days!!! At least I've already read 2 during the month...

I think I read about half the stories, randomly, and I'm still not sure if everyone understands the theme as I view it.
Then again, it does make job easier, because I've already found 2 I must vote for, hehe

Voted, but it's taken two weekends and I've read them all twice to make a very painful decision. Enjoyed every single one and had to be so tough to choose the last four.

Thank you all so much, that turned out to be one of the best topics and made me laugh often. Some of the ways you managed to break that wall were varied and clever, but I think everyone did even if not always in the conventional sense. ;)

Eleven voters so far and no story has more than four votes. So this time everything is still open! :)
