I might not have the time to write my story (even with the smaller word count limit of a poem). I'm going to be quite busy for at least the next couple of days, and I haven't even read most of last month's stories.

Well, we'll see, I guess. No one is allowed to get their hopes up, though.  :P ;D
The idea of missing makes me cringe, but I don't know where I'm getting this time.
We could start a quitters club?  :P

"quitters" is such a strong word.

Hmpf ???
This club can only be allowed to exist, say, twice a year tops! If you miss more than twice a year I'll get xia to remove your 'regular' title.

erm... it seems Lady Ty was right about the nagging ;D

Haha that's mean! This one will be our third in a row, so we shall see how vigilant The Bea is.  :P

Would "slackers" be better?  :D

Oops, that will involve far more vigilance that I expected ;) maybe you can escape, hehe
(note that Dec counts as last year, so you're still safe, provided you submit all months from now on 8))

Now now, none of that. Your writing isn't drivel.  :)

Mmmm rainbows and butterflies?  ;D

I dunno really. On reflection I don't think we're particularly good at writing to prompts. And we've not done a good job at fitting an entire story into the word limit either...  :-\ Maybe the "beginnings" suggestion I posted a while back would be a good one for us?

We're just one writer though, and it seems like everyone else is having a lot of fun with the themes recently, so it's probably best to come up with something that would appeal to more participants. ;)

A random picture with landscape/cityscape  and masses of small detail including people or animals, like those old Breugels, but xiagan  and ScarletBea's choice.

Then we have to make of it what we can, the whole, a tiny part or whatever.

I think something that goes classic fantasy:

> enchanted weapon
> enchanted person
> magical animal

Or, I thought the "abandoned places" art from last year were really cool. Something like that.

Not a problem, I'd never take a participant's suggestion for the next month. I store them somewhere and use them later on. ;)
