There must be one that you liked just a tiny bit above the others, no? Gut feeling?

There's no rational gut feeling.  ;D

Did I say it had to be rational? ;)
I always order my stories in how I liked them, and that can be totally irrational ;D

No, I did.  :D

Roll a dice, throw some darts, eeny meeny miny mo? No?
It wouldn't be fair to the other three.
They all deserve the vote, but none of them deserve it more than the others.  ???
Might just have to re-read them again.

Why would it matter to be a tie? There have been double winners before, because when we voted for Best of 2014 there were two each in Jan 2014 and Dec 2014

Congratulations @tebakutis, @Rukaio_Alter and @Jmack!!!

We've had ties before, yes, but not 3-way ;D

And I'm annoyed SugoiMe's story didn't have any votes, I really enjoyed it. If I knew it, I'd have voted for her, there were a few candidates for my votes.

I voted for RA, Nora and m3mnoch :)

Elfy, yours was soooo creepy! I have a thing about weird dolls, and that brought all my fears to life, hehe

Wow! How weird is this month! Sharing third place and behind 5 people!! What an over crowded podium.

Yeah, Sugoi's story was nice, I just didn't consider it for vote because it didn't seem to fit the "young" part of the love. Didn't make it a bad story at all though, just a little bit too off from the topic.

I think it was a hard month. The real problem really was the "young" part of Young Love.

My own votes went to @tebakutis and @Unsummonable Henry Dale.

I found Henry's story to not really fit the topic and yet totally fit it, in a gross way. It's a young, short and violent one sided love but it is young, and it is probably the only thing the character knows of love. When I first read it I thought "well that was creepy but good but I surely won't vote for that.." but then read every one and felt that if I only had three votes, then it had to be in my selection.
Separating thirds was just too hard this month!

Congrats to everyone for weathering that topic, and Rukaio and Jmack for your 3-way victory!

^ Funny you say that, Nora, because I didn't vote for Jmack even though I loved the story/setting just because I felt that the 'young love' theme was just secondarily addressed.

Grats you three!
I voted for jmack, elfy and m3mnoch this time around.
So only jmack's squirrels were among the victors for mine.

It was a really strange month this one and I have no clue yet what next month's stories will be, but with 4th wall as a topic it'll allow for odd stuff.

Meanwhile I have an idea for fanfic. I just need to decide on characters.

And hopefully the critique thread won't be neglected! I'm open for exchanging shots at peoples' work.

It's also the reason why I didn't vote for Jmack, despite the excellent show of squirrels  :P

Wow, that's awesome, thank you folks! I've always wanted to be involved in a three-way with @Jmack and @Rukaio_Alter, so having that opportunity ... no wait a moment, that came out wrong. What I really meant was, the idea of a three-way with Jmack and Rukaio always has ... dammit, that's not what I meant, uh...

What was that about "young love"? Forgot I said anything!

What was not to love about squirrel pets  ;D

He should totally make a series out of it  ::). "The Wheel of Squirrels". "The Name of the Squirrel." "The Lord of Squirrels". "The Gentleman Squirrel". "A Game of Squirrels".
Slow and steady wins the race.
