It's called the Corpse Bride.

I'm amazed that you guys write so much. When I write, it's a strange skeletal creature in need of some flesh.

I can't wait to read about a strange skeletal creature in need of flesh that experiences first love...
 :P

This is why we need likes. ;D
You spoke my mind ;D

It's called the Corpse Bride.
;D she was cute

Thumbs rejoice! my entry is in for this month and my phone has been abandoned!
It's the silence that scares me. It’s the blank page on which I can write my own fears.

Can anyone recommend any good on-line resources (Podcasts, websites, etc) for punctuation and the correct uses there off?

I've found the Poynter Institute's podcast "Roy's Writing Tools" particularly helpful for the more technical aspects of writing, but it only briefly touches on punctuation.

I think there was something on the resources stash I read once.

Ah well, I'm in Australia, it's the 31st now.

Just a little scare to push you on ;)

Anyway, I'm not locking the submission thread today (after all, at the end of my day it's still the 31st for you and americans), and then tomorrow I'm travelling in the morning, so I'll probably only lock it in the afternoon - or later, if people ask nicely ;D

FYI, I'll only create the voting/critique threads on Monday 4th, since I'm out for the weekend and it's crazy to do that on a tablet...

I'm really struggling to find uninterrupted writing time. There's little kids visiting, and apparently they like their uncle too much to let him out of their sight for longer than a few minutes at a time (and I'm always too tired to write after they go to sleep).

[sighs]

I'm only about 200 words in at the moment but I know pretty well what I'm going to write. So, maybe I'll be able to finish it before tomorrow afternoon. [shrugs]  :-\

In January I set out to partake in every writing contest here this year. To fail this close to the finish line would be... awful/sad/depressing. Hmm. I guess, I better not fail then.  :P
Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

I can wait for you (and anyone else) until Saturday ;)

Nieces and nephews definitely need time with uncles/aunts :D
