Well, I've written about a bit of weather. Think this is the shortest story I've ever done.

Hope it works... Like an upside down umbrella ;D

I'm not sure I'll have something. At least I remembered to work on a contest entry this month, but every idea just slips through my fingers. I can't even get a "the theme is barely there and pasted on last minute" kind of idea to stick.

Hopefully I can work around this recent creative block, and soon. I really want to get back into posting contest entries. And I'd hoped to partake in Inktober this year, see how long I could last, in an attempt to improve my inking skills.

I did write a little this month, but I'm way too rusty at this...

I'm revising my story now, but with only half an hour left, I'm going to be late (a day late—perhaps). If that's okay, then I'll send it in a little later. If not, at least I'll have a finished story :)

Actually, now I think about it, I'm not sure which timezone you use. It looks like it's already the early hours of the morning in Fantasy Faction.

And then there’s me. I miiiiight get something done today. Maybe. If I’m fast.
But maybe not.
Can I have today to try?

Thanks! I've submitted the story. 1,500 words including title.

Wild. How did we end up with so many really short short stories?

Exactly what I asked myself! :D

Does weather talk shorten conversations too?

Alf: "Rain tonight."
Bob: "Aye."

[2 minutes' silence pass between them]

Bob: "Not as bad as it were that time in '48."
Alf: "Aye."

Ah, if only all human interaction were so straightforward. :)
