Ag it's okay. I don't have to look at it because I'm reading on kindle. No harm, no foul. :)

This is much better - not quite a hooded man, but certainly a mysterious hatted man. Plus a George RR Martin recommendation on the front cover.  That sold it to me!

I like this one the best as well. :) I was disappointed that the one my husband got has the pink and blue tower cover.

This book is on my "Wish List" on Paperback Swap and i'm second in line for when it becomes available. The site estimates 1 week before my wish is fulfilled (which is just a guess based on average availability). In the event that I can request the book and can get it in my hands by early next month, I'll participate.

So I just found the site a couple weeks and this is my first real post... But I'm definitely in! I read The Lies of Locke Lamora a couple years ago, however, I will definitely read it again. Although I have to admit...the cover of the US Paperback is pretty cheesy.

I would totally be game for re-reading it, except that I gave my copy of both Lies and Red Sails to my mother.

Hopefully I'll finally be done with Name of the Wind by the time you start! About 150 pages to go!  I do already have a copy of Lies of Locke Lamora though, so I'm in!  Perhaps I just need to be resigned to being an every other month participant!

I have the US cover too, and always thought it was pretty, but I was just looking at the buildings I think.  I do like the other one posted as well, and agree that the person on the US copy is pretty cheesy looking.  I'll just put my thumb over him when I look at the cover from time to time! ;)

I own the Uk cover and I'm not a fan of that US one...the cheeks!  It is specifically said in the book that, 'Locke didn't really have any weight to spare.'  I certainly don't imagine him wearing a bright red coat, either.

I'm provisionally in, providing that I can find a copy at the Library (I should be able to. They'll order it in if it isn't in stock). I've been let down by so many fantasy series, that I never buy the first volume by someone I've yet to read unless I'm extremely flush, which I'm not at the moment. ;)

My sister gave back my copy as she couldn't get into it apparently (not enough action for her) so I'm back in :P

Are you somehow implying that there are people in the world who aren't?

Check out this scene and then try telling me it's not a work of genius. :P

I've read it twice, and I love this book, so I should be in for this month. Not sure how often we're supposed to post or anything, but I'd love to join the discussion.
