I thought the "not reading" thing was about the asterisk, and I kept waiting for Xia to post the true theme... then I read the new thread and went "but... what... OOOOOOHHHH"

I saw this thread at 4.30am because our clocks went forward and I wake early, and I was completely fooled yesterday :-[ Then I went to xia's first post and I am completely stuck there :D I need a hint about the hint.  @Nora, if this was a life and death quest, you and I would be gone .

But I thought it was a great theme anyway, was already planning to collect scat from many worlds and ages.  ;D

aweeee I was way more excited when I thought the theme actually was a scavenger hunt-- that's the model I'm using for my book series!

When are you posting here the correct theme, @xiagan?
Another day, to let people play the hunt some more?

Oh, I actually didn't plan at posting it here...
Especially now that it's been solved and easily findable through the spoiler thread OR sending me a pm.

Ah!
Another barrier to participating, check if the writers *really* want this ;)

Mmmmh... So, can I speak here about the new theme as it truly is or not?!

I've been inspired by both the fake and true prompts with my story idea. This month the ideas seemed to come pretty easy compared to the last few months, oh well. Question is, can I make it work :D.

All I wanted to say was that I found the best story trope ever on the topic of omens, but I just know it's the sort of stuff Rukaio could pull off best.. You know, the story of a guy who can receive omens from the gods, but can't be arsed making a job out of it, so he gets messages everywhere : empties a can of noodles and they form words like "death is coming", he sighs and eats and goes to take a shower and there his log hair on the shower wall form the word "listen!". He goes to work and spills coffee and the stain goes "oi", etc, with the deities getting more and more fed up as the guy does his best to ignore the messages.
I just don't think I'm able to write anything comedic really. I know it's an art in itself and I've never ever tried my hand at it...

She went into so much detail about how the omens are happening that is surely an omen she will do it  ::)
