Pssssst - it's a GINORMOUS photo! Could you please resize?
I can't even tell if it's bad or not... from the corner looks like a normal american cover ;)

And imagine my surprise when I read this thread and then saw this in Key West.
Vampires are everywhere.  ;)

Hahaha was planning on doing a massive piss take of the twilight novels until I realised the truth!

This is going to be hard! But a good challenge  :)

One of Jim Hines' cover pose recreations would have made for an interesting picture.
I will expand your TBR pile.

Well, an unbelievably quick story post by @wakarimasen, and a really cool twist!
This is going to be fun.
The bar is already very high.  ;D

No prank got me today as I was very aware the whole time, but this one did it. I was very disappointed, thinking "Damn, I won't take part this month, then", but then I saw the following post and had a good laugh  :D Nicely done, @xiagan!

Now, the true theme is very interesting, and full of possibilities. I am very excited to come up with something  :)

Just finished a story on the fight home. Have to think about whether it's the right one for this month. Maybe I'll write a couple and see which one is yelling at me the loudest.  ;D

Just finished a story on the fight home.

Jmacyk is a true fantasy writer! Just like his characters, he gets into fights any time he possibly can, including on the way home ;D (probably coming from the tavern, after a pitch of ale and calling out to the other patrons about their weapons)

It's kind of sad that the only idea I have for the real theme now has a werewolf, vampire, and a girl in it. But I don't think I go down that road. ;D

Just finished a story on the fight home.
How did you manage to write something during a fight? ;)

EDIT: You beat me to it, Bea! I'm too slow.

Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

Posted mine last night - it's Easter holidays in my house and that was about the only time I'm going to have before I stuff my face with my kids' chocolate and we all run around on a sugar high building stuff and knocking it down again.

You're not alone here, but I will go down that road if only to smite those who would so callously toy with our emotional imagination. Ask and thou shall receive. Expect to see a rollercoaster of steamy monster romance here by the end of the week.

Got rough layout done, now polishing it up a bit and post either tonight or tomorrow. First time doing this monthly thing. First post of writing too. Shall I be nervous about destructive critics?  :P
For great disappointment open spoilers:
Spoiler for Hiden:
It's not about vampires, werewolves or girls.

Stabbed someone with his pen and then used their blood to write the story.
