Just a question, what does RW stand for?
Real world
So no joke submissions is what you're getting at there? I don't think I'd personally ever have two good enough ideas in the one month, but if someone does and they're prepared to go to trouble of working them up and entering them, I have no issue with multiple submissions from the one person.
I will expand your TBR pile.

I don't get it. Because there is a vote, allowing some to have twice as much coverage or more just makes the contest unfair. But we're also voting for best story so why wouldn't someone write two, post up the best one and eventually get the other critiqued?
What if one day on 15 submissions 5 people write two story and 20 1k~ words shorts penalize everyone by making voting a struggle for some people? I really don't see why we'd make thing uneven in the contest while there is a critique thread for prolific writers?

One story per person (not per account) will be in the rules from now on.

I'll elaborate later why I too think that multiple entries are hurting everybody involved.

Not that it matters, but I'm glad that will be the rule: I also agree with one person-one story in this contest.

I'm totally cool with one story per person.

One person, one story:

It hasn't been in the rules but I think one person, one story is ideal. Two persons, one story may work. One person, two or more stories is a bit much.

I think it is mostly bad for the one who submits several stories. It's similar to having another account. If they'd use both frequently it would take them much longer to reach the next rank and to get a decent amount of likes, because they'd have to divide the total amount of posts written and likes got by two.

Same goes for the contest. I'm certain that neither story has a chance to win, because the limited amount of votes get spread about one story more, reducing the average amount of votes every story gets. And most people who realize that two stories are from one person won't vote for both of them.

The writing contest is to hone your skill in writing and I think a part of that is deciding if a story is worth or not and if not to improve it until it is or discard it and write another. If everybody would submit as many stories as they liked, the quality would drop a lot and nobody would read them anymore.

Everybody should submit one story and let it be the best they can come up with. And if three drafts fall by the wayside, their story has already won its first contest and is ready for the next. :)

So is that sixteen in the end then? I shall have to start reading them now!  :D

I will wait a couple of weeks until I start reading - waiting on April's results was hard enough, hehe...

I need to train my brain to *not* expect a plot twist - so I can be surprised ;)

Congratulations all writers that was a very good selection and I have managed to narrow it down to four I thought topped and done my voting duty, but you made it very difficult again.

One big question to whom it may concern, and now we all know who you are,  - what on earth did poor Little Red Riding Hood do to you in your past life???

If there is a shrink among us he may be concerned about a paranoid obsession rife in this corner.
