I'm so glad I read everything the moment it got released. Otherwise I'd be twisted, having to read it all at once.
Gosh, I don't read them all at once!
That would be a pain (especially reading them on the screen) - I take my time throughout a few days...

The trick is to have a good scoring sheet 8)
I can't wait for this month to be frozen so I can start reading...

I read them as soon as they come up and scribble a comment to remember what each title is about then when they are all in I read them again and final score.

Finally managed to write & submit a story for this month's contest, and I've voted for the Rogues stories.

Now I can start reading April's stories, while trying to be as unprepared for possible twists as I can manage  ;D

@xiagan what exactly does this mean:

Entry will close May 1st 2015 and voting will begin somewhere around the same time too.

Does that mean midnight April 30th or midnight May 1st (or something in between)? Just want to make sure, since we'll be cutting it fine with our story this month!  ???

Spare a thought for me in a completely different time zone. It'll probably be May 2 for me.

You're only 8 hours ahead of us, not too bad compared to the people in the US! If that's right then it'd be evening on May 1st for us, which would give us a little breathing space.  :)

I counted 16 entries (I include Atku's entry as valid), so we may just fall short of the record.

Why do you? There is a word count limit after all, his entry isn't valid.

The first time Atku posted, there was a valid story. I moved it to the Review section, and replaced it with a brief message. Maybe folks who read the earlier entry aren't aware it's been moved.

Ok, that does explain everything. Just raises the problem of allowing the same person to post more than one story via different accounts.

Which is why I moved it. I loved the joke, but one per RW person is the right number.

This made me wonder if we could one month allow for anonymous double publications, with people getting bonus points if they can guess who wrote what.
While I was considering such impossibilities, I imagined we could set up a story system in which the fastest writer gets to start with about 500 words, and then the first person to call dibs on it gets to write the next 500 words, ect, creating a massive exquisite cadaver. But it'd be so hard to vote on that and such a potentially long process that it'd be a topic in itself... Ok and now I need to go back to my writing.  ::)

I believe the record is 17, set with the Rogues challenge in March. If Atku's entry has been removed then that's out, and we only have 15. Why wasn't it valid? Did it not make word count? There's nothing that says someone can't enter two stories for any given month. So long as they're clearly different stories.
